Varanasi students make “quarantine covid watch”

The coronavirus situation in the country, several innovations are also coming up to meet it. Four students studying in the final year of the electronic department of Ashok Institute in Varanasi,Uttar Pradesh have made a ‘quarantine covid watch’.

 This watch depends on the radio frequency. It was made by Abhishek, Anish Kumar, Ajit Verma and Shashi Singh in 15 days. This watch is designed to help the police.Patients in quarantine are sometimes at risk of spreading the virus due to negligence. So this watch can keep an eye on them The watch has to be worn by the patient and if the patient goes beyond the prescribed range, the watch is activated and alarms and calls the nearest police station. So the police can take action in time

According to Shyam, Head of Research and Development, this innovation of the students is useful. The watch can be modified from the primary stage.
